BAR & WAITING STAFF

FULL & PART TIME / PERMAMENT

Central Park Restaurant & Bar is one of the busiest and most well-loved restaurants in the region, located on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough.

We are currently recruiting for full-time waiting & bar staff to join our passionate and dedicated team. Applicants must have experience in a similar and fast-paced environment to be considered.

Successful candidates must:

  • Have experience in similar, fast paced hospitality environments.

  • Be fully flexible to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.

  • Be able to stay calm and work well under pressure.

  • Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.

  • Be a hard working, team player in a large and motivated team.

  • Have excellent customer service skills.

LINE CHEF

FULL TIME / PERMAMENT

We are recruiting for line chefs to work full time in our busy restaurant on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough.

Our kitchen is fast paced and very busy, experience working in a similar environment is essential! Immediate start is available.

*Wage is negotiable depending on experience, as well as weekly tips enhancement*

The ideal candidates must be able to work well within a large kitchen team, show initiative, be hard working, driven and looking to work as part of a skilled and passionate team where you will be challenged and developed.

The successful candidate will require the following characteristics and skills:

  • A hardworking, friendly and positive attitude.

  • Prepared to be trained in various positions and sections in the kitchen.

  • Be a team player in a highly motivated team.

  • Have experience in high volume kitchens and fast paced hospitality environments.

  • Must be fully flexible to work weekdays, evenings and weekends and be able to do split shifts.

  • Own transport would be beneficial but isn't required.

  • Food Hygiene and Safety Award Level 1 is required as a minimum.

Administrative Assistant

FULL TIME / PERMAMENT

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our Office team

The applicant must be self-motivated, efficient and proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office, with exceptional organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner and be able to work under pressure effectively.

They must be able to communicate well at all levels and be able assist the Managers and Supervisors as well as dealing with customer and staff needs.

The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team, whilst also being able to work alone and use their own initiative.

Below is a general but not exhaustive list of typical duties:

  • Taking and processing customer bookings, confirming all reservations and organising and communicating any customer special requirements.

  • Answering all incoming calls and enquiries in a friendly and professional manner, having excellent telephone skills at all times.

  • Checking and responding to all e-mails, Facebook and Instagram messages in a timely and professional manner.

  • Typing up and filing of documents in line with GDPR.

  • Receiving and checking all large party pre-orders.

  • Taking and completing deposit transactions.

  • Updating and maintaining staff noticeboards.

  • Ordering and replenishing stock for the cleaning department on a weekly basis.

  • Taking notes in HR and disciplinary meetings and liaising with our outsourced HR company.

  • Liaising with clients and suppliers.

  • Comparing prices and contracts for new suppliers.

  • Performing any other ad hoc tasks that may be requested by Management or Directors and Assisting the Directors, Managers and Supervisors.

The role is offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours a week over 5 days on a permanent basis,

this role involves working weekends.

The ideal candidate will be flexible in regard to working hours.

References will be required from the successful candidate.
